I intended to write a "go to" pattern for many people and I wanted to use a yarn which would be easily accessible by everyone. So I choose a classic. This pattern uses soft wool/ acrylic blend yarn which could be easily substituted for another chunky weight yarn of your choice.
Some more advanced knitting skills than "beginner" are needed. This pattern has color work which can give some people more trouble because of the tension.
PLEASE, knit a SWATCH before you begin knitting as various people knit differently and COMPARE measurements. This saves a lot of time and frustration when your measurements are different.
